Well it's been a little while since we've had a chance to update this damn thing! So.... here's the rundown!
Talk about one hell of a couple of months! DAMN! We've been EXTREMELY busy since getting the lineup the way it is. We've been working on new songs and are hoping to start writing more so we can get back in the studio and record our next full length album. The new Album will have the same songs that are on the recent "Bred on Deception" EP as well as our newest ones, "S.O.S." and "God as my Witness" and whatever else we come up with next! Which rest assured, will be so fuckin' heavy and moshable you won't know what to do with yourselves! Stay tuned for more tunes!
We just got back from our tour last Sunday. What a great time! The "Malicious Intent Tour" started on May 24th in Las Vegas, NV and kept going through New Mexico, Colorado, Oklahoma, Texas, and Arizona for the first leg, and then we came back to L.A., got on a plane and played 5 shows in New Zealand. Talk about fun! We're still recovering from all the partying! Thanks to all the bands that we jammed with while on the road, especially Level-Zero who did the U.S. tour with us, and our new friends Chuganaut (NZ), Sinate (NZ), and Frankenbok (Australia), we can't wait to do it again!
We'll be slowing it down a little bit for the summer as far as touring so that we can work on some new songs and take some time out for personal things. But we WILL be playing shows, so keep checking to see if we're coming near you.
February 20th, 2006
HUGE News!! First.... Travis, Jason Randy and Tim would like to welcome Matt Snell into the band as our full time bassist. Matt is a friend of the band already and with him playing bass for FLATLINE now, this band will only be better. Matt has played for Many bands, including Anubis Rising and Deadsett here in the L.A. area. We're very glad to have him onboard!! We're sure you fans will approve too!
NEXT!! OUR LATEST EP IS HERE!!! Tuesday, February 21st we'll be releasing a new 3 song EP. Go to our MySpace page to get all the songs! They will be available here as well soon after the release on MySpace. The 3 new songs on the EP are; "Generations Fall", "In Silence", and "Statistic". CATCH IT TOMORROW!!!
There are going to many more shows in the coming months. If you're in the San Diego area, you have to be at the Evil Threads - "Goats Gone Wild 2" show in San Marcos this coming Friday 2/24.We'll also being playing L.A. again soon as well as hitting up New Mexico again and possibly many more states and cities... we'll keep you posted on the possible tour - so keep checking back to see all the details or hit up our MySpace page to get the latest show dates...(It gets updated faster than this site).
We're also going to get the media area updated and made a little easier to use. There will be more video soon, the latest pictures from the NAMM show and our latest rockfest in Bakersfield. A bunch more stuff is on it's way... so stay tuned! ALSO!!! The FLATLINE FORUMS are back up and running! Want to just chill and talk about random stuff? Want to talk about FLATLINE? WOW! What a killer NIGHT!!!! Last night at the Key Club in Hollywood was the Evil Threads show, and it was a BLAST!!! We want to thank the following... Sarah and all the Evil Threads staff.... you guys are the best! Sanaz, Steve, and everyone with Hollywood Music TV.... thanks for the support! ALL OF OUR FANS THAT CAME OUT!!! YOU GUYS ARE FUCKIN' BADDASS!!!! All of the bands.... Mack, Jesus, and the rest of 33 Degree, You bad motherfuckers in Bleed the Sky, Our good friends In This Moment, Ankla, and Down Factor.... as well as Springwood!!
All of the sponsors that helped out .... Halo Guitars, Revolver Magazine, Coffin Cases and Jagermeister.... YOU ALL RULE!!!
****************************
We played for a packed house and had a huge fuckin' mosh pit though the whole set. There were at least 50 people that we knew from MySpace and most likely there were more of you that we didn't get a chance to talk to.
The crowd was HUGE! there were something like 675 people that came out and witnessed a little bit of history. This was the first Evil Threads show, and it was special for everyone involved. It was like a big family reunion were everbody got to just relax.... play some metal, and not have to worry about anything! And it showed in every bands performances.... you could just feel it in the air. Rest assured.... there are going to be more Evil Threads shows in the future. Thanks Sarah! You ROCK!!!
After our show we went up and did an interview with Sanaz with HMTV that will be airing soon. We'll let you know when! Thanks HMTV for the love!
Well.... that's about it for now, but thanks to everyone for a great night!
January 4th, 2006
It's with a heavy heart that we announce the following.
Due to certain circumstances we've had to make a change. Our long time bassist, Adam Anaya, will not be playing bass for us anymore. Adam has been with us since the beginning and he will be missed. It's with a heavy heart that we write this to all of you today. Jason, Tim, Travis and Randy all want to send our thanks to Adam for his intensity and drive over the last 4 years. We love ya dude!
Until we find a full time replacement for Adam, we've gotten a friend of ours to cover shows and keep us going. We want to say Thanks to Josh Newell for helping us out. Josh is the current bassist for Ketaset and former bassist for In This Moment. Josh is a fucking bad ass on the bass and will fill in flawlessly. So come out to see FLATLINE!!
So with this change, we have a full time spot that we're hoping to fill soon. We'd love to keep Josh onboard as our full time bassist, but the man is very busy with his band, Ketaset, and his recording business, so unfortunately that won't happen. We've looked at a couple of people, but have made no decisions yet. If you or someone you know would like to try out to be our next bassist, then by all means, get in touch with us. We would hope that you live in the L.A. area, or at least are willing to move here. So if that's you, hit us up.
That said...... come out to the next FLATLINE show!!! January 14th @ the Key Club for the Evil Threads "Goats Gone Wild 2006" show!!!!
2006 will be a big year for us.... we played over 50 show in 2005 and we want to double that number this year and bring our music right to you!!
STAY METAL!!!
December 9th, 2005
Lot's of stuff to talk about this month!
Let's start with the really cool shit...... In a week or so, we're hoping to have some new music up for you guys to check out! We're almost finished up with some recordings, and so far, they are BRUTAL!!!! No worries here... you guys will like what you hear! We've gotten a pretty killer mix out of our new stuff. Just be patient and we'll get it finished up as soon as we can to let you all rock out to some NEW FLATLINE!!!
Last night, we went to see the Rock City News awards show to see if we'd win any awards! If you've been reading for a while, you've seen our posts asking you to vote for us! To those of you who've been voting every week, THANKS!!! We took home the award for "Outstanding New Band of 2005". Unfortunately, we didn't win the "Best Metal Band of 2005" category.... (One of the bands that tied for the win had a total of 79 votes..... we had 750! Not to mention, I we think one of the members of the band that won writes for the Rock City News, so we're kinda thinking it was rigged.) We can't be too disappointed though... we did take home an award!
Also last night at the RCN awards we got to hang out with our good friend, Sanaz, and the crew from Hollywood Music Television. www.hollywoodmusic.tv. We did an interview with Sanaz for HMTV and we'll let you all know when it's going to be aired. We were honored by Sanaz during the interview when she said, "FLATLINE is my favorite L.A. Metal band!" Thanks Sanaz!!! FLATLINE loves you too!!!
As for tonight.... we're going to be playing a DIMEBAG tribute show with some of our friends, Dyer, Steel Remains, The Weapon They Fear, and Sangre! It's going to be a lot of fun and we're gonna do DIMEBAG some justice by throwing down some Pantera tunes. 4 to be exact.
That'll be our last show of 2005, and we're going to take some time off for the Holiday season. Go visit family, go on vacations, and just relax. We want to thank each and every one of you people for being such kick ass fans! And we'll see you next year.
Our first show back will be OFF THE HOOK!!! So if you are in the L.A. area and miss the Evil Threads show at the Key Club on January 14th.... it's going to be hard to forgive you!! hahaha... There will be some great bands including, FLATLINE, Bleed the Sky, In This Moment, 33 Degree, and many more. Tons of cool giveaways from Evil Threads, Revolver Magazine, Jagermeister, and Halo Guitars. Our buddy Sanaz and the HMTV crew will be there to cover the event too.... so get your asses there! www.evilthreads.com
Thanks for such a killer 2005 everyone!!! We'll be around on MySpace,
so don't hesitate to say hello..... and have a happy holiday season!!
Most of all....... STAY METAL!!!!
October, 31st, 2005
Happy Halloween! Yeah... it's almost like Christmas..hehehe.
So here's what's been going on! This past month has been pretty good to us! We just hooked up with our new sponsor! We want to thank Sarah and the rest of Evil Threads for this opportunity. Evil Threads is a clothing company hell bent on "Outfitting the populace with evil... and hopefully offensive attire." Go check out their stuff! It's kick ass! So when you see us rockin' out and you find yourself asking..."I wonder where I can get that shirt that Adam is wearing?", now you know! www.evilthreads.com
We are also working on some cool stuff with Illusion Guitars. Illusion and Flatline are in the begininng stages of a cross promotion deal and possible sponsorship by Illusion. Eddie and Jeff over at Illusion are making some of the craziest looking, and most state of the art axes around, and will be showcasing them at the upcoming NAMM convention. Jason got to play one of the new ones last night and in his own words...."This guitar is a monster in more than the literal sense! Kick ass guitar, man!" So be on the lookout for FLATLINE throwing down on some Illusion Guitars in the future. We are also going to be featured in their upcoming catalog! We'll let you know! www.illusionguitars.com / www.myspace.com/illusionguitars
So the holidays are upon us, and that means a few less shows, but don't think that we won't be playing! We have shows lined up into January. Including the Inland Empire, Orange County, Hollywood, Santa Monica, Bakersfield, and a trip to Phoenix, Albuquerque, and more coming up in January. So even with the holidays, we'll be busy in one way or another. So be sure to come out and rock out with FLATLINE!!!
STAY METAL!!!
September 11th, 2005
It's been 4 years since the worst day in American history. Today is a day of rememberance... a day to reflect back on that day 4 years ago and ask questions. Questions of why? Questions of how? Questions about what we do 4 years later. Are we really doing anything? It's funny that after 9/11 our government put certain things to work like better communication between police and fire agencies, when they can't even communicate what the public wants into reality. It's funny that after the nations biggest tragedy ever, that almost 4 years later, a hurricane can come through and wipe out an entire region and our emergnecy people that were supposed to be able to communicate better after 9/11 couldn't do anything any better. What has our govenrment been doing? Jacking each other off?
"Take it all back" That is a line out of our song, "Overcome". That's the message FLATLINE brings to all of you today. Take it ALL BACK! Tell your governemt how you feel..... ask them why it took almost 4 days to get the people of New Orleans, LA fresh drinking water. I'm sure George. W. Bush had a nice glass of water while he made the decision to cut his vacation short....(yeah.... another vacation as usual for ol' Bushy).
It's time we pull together as a nation. Fuck all your personal issues. If you are racist, don't be. The reason is..... we are ALL Americans. Not just some..... ALL......
So that said... we say again. Remember the fallen. Support our friends and family members in the armed forces whether you like the war or not. Send what you can to the Red Cross to help the victims of Katrina. GO OUT AND VOTE!!! Like we said....... "Take it all back".
July 6th, 2005
All we can say is HELL YEAH!!! This last month we've been busy! We've been able to play some good shows with fun crowds... and to all of you crazy freaks that came out to watch us play, You kick ass!
We've also been writing some new stuff! 2 new songs are already getting some live time. We just broke out a brand new one this past weekend called, "Generations Fall", at Vinny's in Bakersfield and The Gig in Hollywood. We've also been playing another new one lately called, "Statistic". You can check out a live video at The Gig on July 2nd of "Statistic" in the media section or at our myspace page www.myspace.com/flatlinemetal.
NEW FLATLINE GEAR!! We'll have a new design of shirt coming in the next week or so and they'll be available for sale on the site as soon as possible! So make sure to pick up yours! There will be new T's and baby T's, asn well as long sleeve T's and hooding. After we sell a few of them we'll be getting even more stuff.
So yeah! Go watch new videos. Go look at new pictures. Come out to shows. Then get ready to hear some new demo versions of the latest material. and most of all.......
STAY METAL!!!

HEY KIDS! Randy here! Just thought I'd give our evil web master J-dogg a well deserved break, handle the update and let you all in on the happenings of our evil little inner sanctum... of doom.
Well, I gotta tell you, it's been one hell of a ride since last August. What happened last August you ask? Well, that's when me and the rest of the band discovered that together, we can break stuff! (like Tim's hand, my hand and I think J- cracked a rib at the Whiskey) Ha! ...anyway, since then we have been busy doing everything metal just to get to this fine moment in FLATLINE history! That's right kiddies, we are about to unleash 8 months of writing and recording, re-writing and re-recording just so you, our friends, can slam your heads off of stuff, break stuff and bleed blood. Yes I know, it's our pleasure.
So now what? The CD has been recorded & mastered, the artwork has been sent to the printer and we, like you, are waiting for the finished product. In the MEAN time we'll all just have to keep ourselves busy jammin' out and partying. So... check out our shows page for live events and shit and see you tonight in DOWNEY!!!
Almost time for
MASSIVE AGGRESSIVE!!!!!!!

Here's the scoop.....
As of today (3/12) we just have to put the last of Travis' vocals down so Jason can go in and do the backups. Once that's done, it's all Randy. Once Randy gets the leads done to the point where he's satisfied with them, we'll be mixing. We've already mixed a lot of the music and let me tell ya......this shit is going to kick your ass! We'll hopefully be finishing up everything in the next week or so.....Then it's off to In Fidelity Recordings to do a little mastering.
At first we wanted to just produce a 3 or 4 song demo, but since we were going to do up some sick artwork and package the thing for sale, we decided to put 8 songs on it. It's pretty likely that the song order will be; Rise to Fail, Through the Glass, Mulch, Overcome, Disrupted, Cell Rot, Scarred, and 1 cover song. It's sure to please.
Along with the new CD, we'll have new stuff! Maybe not right away, but it'll happen. We plan on making some new shirt styles, stickers, and other stuff. We've also givin the website a full overhaul. It works the same as the old version, all the buttons that you might be used to clicking will be in the same spots, but we have a fresh, new look! Some of you guys might remember when we did this the last time..... When "Redefining" came out we changed the site also.
We also have an idea or 2 for some new videos. Most likely you'll see a video in the works for "Mulch", and Jason is kicking around a concept for "Disrupted". Not to worry, we have 1000megs worth of space to fit all this crap on! Lot's more cool shit is coming this year!!!! Stick around!
March 1st , 2005
Thanks
to all of the people who have become new fans of FLATLINE!
Thanks to those that have supported us in the past!
Thanks to our new sponsor's! (You know who you are)
Thanks to all you crazy Mother F'ers that came out to the shows on 2/25 &
2/26 in Bakersfield and Corona!!!
Thanks to those bands that we always have a good time hangin' out with....
Temperd, Deadsett, and our bro's from New Mexico... N.M.E.!!!
Thanks to all those cool people that we got to meet last weekend.
Thanks to the bartenders that get us drunk.
Thanks to the clubs for having us out!
March is here, and with that, we'll be heading up to the mountains to record some stuff for the upcoming EP, "Massive Aggresive". It'll have about 4 or 5 songs all recorded, mixed, and remixed, and eventually mastered by US!!! (As always) - We should have it ready for the public by the end of March. It will have on it..... Mulch, Rise to Fail, Through the Glass, and Crave. (maybe a cover song!)
We will be in Corona on MARCH 18th again! We'll be there with our good friends Perpetual Maddness!!!!!!
STAY METAL!!
February 11th , 2005
Here is the news as of late. So much stuff to talk about! Where should we start.
Well, if you read above, you might have noticed that we're not going to Denver next week. The club had something against having an "Out of town" band/bands. They told the person booking the show after 6 weeks of having been booked, that they now wanted a deposit!! ASSHOLES!!! Bad Business...... There were other complications as well, so we figured it was not meant to be at this time.
On to the other stuff. As you all know, we have been working on the newest CD for you guys. After coming to a collective decision as a band, we've come to the fact that the stuff we recorded 5-6 months ago does NOT give the best impression of what we are. So we've decided to do it ourselves and get together a 4 song EP. Hopefully we'll have it ready by the end of next month. We wanted to make you guys crap your pants when you listen......and the mixes are just not making us crap.....so we're doing it again.....FOR YOU!!!
More stuff!!! FLATLINE now has a TOUR VAN!!!! We'll have before and after pics up soon. It's old, but it'll get us where we need to get! Stay tuned and STAY METAL!!!
January 13th , 2005
We'll be getting all of our shit ready to go out to New Mexico 1/21 & 1/22. So if you are out in NM, you need to try and come see a show! We had a great time the last trip we took out there, and we plan on making this one even better. So plan on partying your asses off!! Because we got rooms at the same hotel we were at last year. This time, we'll make sure we get beer before we get onstage though. Sucks trying to find beer after midnight in Albuquerque. So even though we still are not sure how we want to get there, we'll be there!! Trasportation is always an issue when you don't have a record company gassing up the bus....haha!!!
On another note....Thanks to all that made it out in the rain and crap to Rocky's Bar in Frazier Park to help us celebrate the life of "Dimebag". What a great night with great friends!! Thanks must go to our bro's Deadsett & Temperd!!! The beer flowed freely, the Jagermeister was flowing pretty well too..... Most of all this night was just a chance to hang out with some of our closest friends and party down!!! Which we did. Rain and all..... Go to the MEDIA section to see some pictures from the show!
Our set list for the night Through the Glass Disrupted **Regular People Rise to Fail Overcome **Rise Cell Rot Mulch **Fucking Hostile Flatline
December 13th , 2004
If you are a fan of metal, then by now you are fully aware of the tragic events in Columbus, Ohio. As a metal band, all of the guys in Flatline are feeling the effects of "Dimebag" Darrell's death. All of us have grown as musicians and fans throughout the years listening to the genius that "Dime" was. We send out our love to Vinnie, and all the victims of this weeks mayhem. We won't get into it too much, but just want to say "Thanks, Dime, for all you gave us. The whole world is a lot emptier without you in it. R.I.P. and give 'em hell...!!"

On that note...... FLATLINE, and a few of our friends, including DEADSETT, are planning a tribute show to party with friends and remember "Dime" the best way we know how. Jam out and play metal!!! Hopefully we'll get something togther very soon and we'll let everyone in on the fun as soon as it gets put together. This won't be anything fancy, and we don't even know where it'll be yet, but it will be a blast!! The beer will flow, the metal will crank, maybe each band will even try to do some justice of a Pantera song or something........ but one thing's for sure... There will be 'Black Tooth Grins' somewhere!
Keep checking the site for any updates, and we'll get an email out when we find the place to party.
November 24th, 2004
We will not be playing live until January 22nd. We have something coming up then and we'll be letting you all know very soon. There will be another tour coming up aound the first of the year. We'll be heading back out to do 2 shows in New Mexico and one in Arizona. The details aren't nailed down yet, but we'll let you know when it's all set in stone. Along with those 3 shows, we might also be heading to Louisiana and Texas.
THE NEW CD!!! That's right kiddies.... We are going to be throwing down at least one more new song before we finish this bad mo-fo. We need to go in and finish mixing all the stuff we did a couple months ago and then record this new stuff, then we'll wrap it up so we can get it out to you guys!! The CD is still untitled, and we have more than a few ideas of what to call it, but that's still up in the air too. You can listen to the unmixed versions in the MUSIC area, just scroll down to the "Dawn of the Sredd" sampler......
Along with the release of the newest compilation of brutality in 2005, we will be getting a DVD together. It's going to be about 30-45 minutes long and will feature behind the scenes antics from the 5 of us freaks. It will also include at least 3 music videos, and a video bigraphy of the band. Something to look forward to!!
Speaking of VIDEOS!!! Go check out the newest video in the MEDIA area. It's the live recording from The Whisky with Hemlock and Deadsett, and the footage is from that show as well as from Monster Mosh..... SO GO WATCH IT!!! (High speed connections are recommended)
November 13th, 2004
Well we were going to play with TEMPERD in Corona tonight, but Randy had to fuckin' fall down the stairs taking out the trash and break his right hand. We were also supposed to go record at MI last night, but something got screwed up there too! So we decided to do other stuff.
Tim and Jason have been capturing video footage and getting it ready to start editing together for our upcoming music video, DVD biography, and Official Home Video DVD!!! It's all coming together..... There are still about 7 hours or more of tape to go through so we still have our work cut out for us.
We have also dedicated a whole section just for the 1st Annual MONSTER MOSH in Bakersfield. It's a whole site pretty much that is slowly getting filled up with more media almost every week. Plenty of fun stuff to check out on there. Video clips and Live songs from a couple of the bands will be on there soon as well as clips of some of the crazy f*ckers that made it a great night. Just click here ---> MOSH!!!
November 8th, 2004
Let me start by saying THANK YOU to our very good friends in Bakersfield. The crowd at MONSTER MOSH 2004 was just awesome! And thank you must go to TEMPERD for putting the whole thing together. The show went off great and we made a lot of new friends that had never seen FLATLINE before. We got about 100 CD samplers out there for the new fans and we had a blast!
On a down side...... Randy informed me just Yesterday, that he had fallen down a flight of stairs and broke his hand. WHAT A DUMBASS!!! So basically, We are going to take a few weeks off from playing live shows. We are going in to do some live recording session stuff this weekend and we plan on finishing the mixes for the new CD. Everything is looking good for the release of our newest (still not titled) work of musical brutality. STAY TUNED!!! It's on it's way!!!
STAY METAL!
October 22nd, 2004
The new upcoming FLATLINE material is on it's way! We'll have free CD samplers available at shows until we release the new CD (still not titled) sometime in early 2005. The sampler has 2 songs that we've just recorded and that will be on the new full length CD. As of right now there are 8 songs done for the new CD, and 1 more has just been written. A few more tunes and we'll get them recorded and finish up this bad ass new Mo-Fo for all you FLATLINE peeps!!
October 8th, 2004
Last night we tore up the stage at The Whisky A-Go-Go in Hollywood, CA. WHAT A KICK ASS SHOW!!! We want to thank all of the FLATLINE fans that came out and especially the ones that stuck around to here our good friends DEADSETT. Not to mention those crazy fuckers in HEMLOCK!!! That's right...... between these 3 bands the crowd was sure to get their fill. Also on the bill were 5 Foot Thick, E.O.E., Demise, Sicklife, and Odium.
First off, we had a great crowd that came out early just to see us play. AND NOT JUST PEOPLE THAT BOUGHT TICKETS!!!
Set list for the night: Cell Rot Overcome Rise to Fail Crave Through the Glass Disrupted
After taking hold of every soul in the room for 25 mins., we got the chance to talk to a lot of people that had not yet seen us play. The response was great! We must have met 40 or 50 people that were glad to hear our style of metal again. LOOK OUT!!! We're Loose!! And coming for YOU!!!!!!
We also had tha chance to network and hang out with some very cool people. We want to thank Chad from HEMLOCK for the info, and we'll be booking more shows with those guys when they come back around town....... Maybe there will even be a show in their hometown of Las Vegas!! And you know how we like to play vegas..... and then go watch Travis lose all his food, booze, and cigarette cash....hahaha!!
So thanks for coming out if you were there and STAY METAL!!!
September 17th, 2004
Here's the rundown on what's been going on so far in the studio! Sunday, Sept. 5th we went in and recorded the drums tracks for 5 new songs and 3 off of the old CD. We wanted to re-do a few of the old ones to give you all a fresh feel of what the band is like now as a five piece. Tim kicked ass through the drum tracks getting almost everything in one take! He even did "Overcome" by HIMSELF with no scratch track! Jason forgot something at home and got back to find Tim done with the 1st song! The next day was Rythm guitar day. Jason layed down all the tracks and some clean stuff. Tuesday Adam went in and threw down the bass, and the day after, Randy came in and put some cool shit down over all of it. On this coming Sunday, Travis and Jason head back in to get vocals done.......then the real fun begins! We get to start mixing!
We should be finished with the 8 songs we're doing now in a couple of weeks, but we'll get some rough stuff up so all of you can hear what's in store for FLATLINE. We will also be doing some tracks at the M.I. studio in Hollywood. These will all be live recordings done over a 1 night period. Should be pretty cool to see what happens.

September 3rd, 2004
This Sunday, September 5th, we'll begin the recording of our new stuff!! First we'll be doing the drums and some guitar tracks, and then moving onto bass and vocals, as well as some other stuff possibly! To begin woth, we'll be doing two songs, of which one will be used for the next video. (The old one will be back up soon, but we needed the server space. After this month, we'll have 500 megs instead of 100.) The two we're thinking of doing first are "Disrupted" and "Through the Glass". We hope to have the first two done in about 10 to 14 days, so we'll have them available on the site very soon.
We'll also be getting more T-shirts (we still have some left), little tight T's for you girls, as well as beenies and hooded sweatshirts. All of which will be up on the site as soon as we get it all done! STAY METAL!!!
A very big thanks to CONSPIRACY THEORY for hosting SUMMER MADNESS 2004 on August 21st.
Summer Madness was an all day event out in Riverside that hosted more than 10 bands. Body piercing, good food, and a great atmosphere for all ages.
We have new pics up from the show!
August 22nd, 2004
Our first 2 shows as a 5 piece!!! This new addition of Randy on leads is just what this band needed.
Our first show with a team of 5 was at The Dome in Bakersfield, CA. Big stage, big sound system, huge room, and only about 100 people there made it echo in the place so bad you couldn't hear your own amp, much less the guy next to you! Good show none the less, but it'll be nice to get back in there with five or six hundred people in there. Look forward to HALLOWEEN when we go back to The Dome and play a Costume party with our good friends, TEMPERD. Those guys are setting a good show up and it will be one to make it to.
The next day was Riverside and SUMMER MADNESS 2004. What a kick ass house party, man!!! BIG THANKS must go out to CONSPIRACY THEORY for putting the whole thing together. This was our time to see what this new 5 piece had. We went on right before the sun went down and brought most of the people there right up to the front of the stage.....which was HUGE and built on the back porch of the house. The sound was KILLER!! The vibe was BETTER!! We played a killer set for some great people and had a blast!

Here's the scoop.... We are Doing some upgrades to the site (finally Jason is getting off of his ass and adding some cool shit). We'll be adding recent live pictures, videos, screen savers, merchandise, stickers, and all kinds of shit. We are also planning on getting into the studio to start recording the next FLATLINE CD!! It won't be for a few months, but we have started writing new stuff and it is going to be HEAVY!!!! We are hoping for December to get into the studio. Until then, more shows and doing what we do for YOU.
Keep checking back often, you will start seeing small changes here and there. As you may have noticed some already!

April 26, 2004
Well DAMN!!! What a great few shows! Bakersfield and Temperd.........then Phoenix and PINGA! Thanks for the shows guys! The shows went great.....getting back from Phoenix did take Jason a little longer than the other guys, though.....lost a fuel pump in Palm Desert and had to stay the night while the truck got fixed. Travis is fitting right in with our plan and making a good live show even better.
We're heading to VEGAS in 2 weeks! Thanks to PERPETUAL MADDNESS for making the trip with us. We're playing with some really cool bands while we're out there..... Get in touch with us if you want to go with us from L.A., we're renting vans and rooms for everyone......you can get all the details on the events page.
April 5, 2004
Well, it has been a busy month for us! Here's the rundown. We've played 3 killer shows in the last month or so, and want to thank all of you crazy fuckers for coming out and having fun with us! We have been working on new material that KICKS ASS!!! We are hoping to be getting into the studio soon to get some recording done so that you can hear some of the new stuff.
Also.......our April 24th show with our bro's, Perpetual Maddness has been cancelled.
I guess the biggest news would be this........... As of April 3rd, Flatline is a 4 piece band! Travis Johnson has been chosen as the new Front man for FLATLINE. Travis is a bass player transplant. He has been playing bass for 10 years, and is now going to step into a new position. One that he has not been. In a surprise song at Paladino's on March 26th, we had Travis come up and do "Money Hungry Disgrace" with us and it kicked ass! We want to welcome Travis to the band. This change will add a lot to the band, as we will be doing some cool new stuff vocally.
So there you have it.... New stuff is close, shows are happening all over the place, and come out and check out our new Front man, Travis...... We have new shows in the works all the time as well as what is on the events page, and might even be going out to Iowa and Nebraska with our bro from Phoenix, PINGA this coming Fall..... so keep checking back to get your FLATLINE updates!!
Anything that happened before this is stuff you'll just have to wait for until the movie rights get bought. Well, not really, but ask someone in the FORUMS and you just might learn something from when we were a 3 piece! Yeah.....like almost 3 years worth of cool shit happened, but we felt like saving space. I mean FUCK! If you've read this far down this page, you KICK ASS!!!
